Figurative sculpture

When I traveled to Nepal 1987, it was a great opportunity to make figurative sculpture. I looked for unique character of people in the center market in Kathmandu. The people come from different tribes and each tribe has its own deep character. Life is simple and slow in Nepal. I could spend the whole year just making sculpture. Each sculpture is made from black clay and was cast in bronze, it is life size.
